Shipping Information

Outside holiday periods strikes and bad weather, orders are generally despatched within one working day. All delivery charges are calculated by weight and size. We charge the minimum possible so there are no nasty surprises at the checkout. We hate being overcharged for postage and packing so we're not going to do it to you. We send all our orders by Royal Mail. Larger or more valuable orders will be sent by Recorded or Special Delivery automatically. The following shipping options are usually available:

• UK First Class from £1.25
• UK Signed For delivery from £2.50 (signature required; tracking after delivery)
• UK Special Delivery from £5.00 (signature required; tracking throughout. The cut-off time for this service is 2pm or soon after)
• Airmail from £3.50

Next Working Day Delivery etc

Special Delivery does not include Saturdays. Therefore if you choose this service and order after 2pm on a Thursday, your order will arrive the following Monday*. Next Working Day orders placed after 2pm on Friday or at any time over the weekend will leave us the following Monday and arrive on Tuesday**.

* Tuesday if Monday is a Bank Holiday
** Wednesday if the Monday was a Bank Holiday

If you choose Special, Saturday or Recorded Delivery, you must be certain that someone will be available at the delivery address to sign for the package. If you're not in, then a card will be left for you detailing when and where you can collect your item. We cannot be held responsible for delays if you are not in when the postman comes.

General Shipping Notes

Most orders are despatched within 24 hours although this can change during holiday periods. As a general rule, our cut-off point for same day despatch is around 2pm but this can be brought forward or moved back depending on such random things as whether the Post Office is closing early, for example. If the time change is significant, we will alert you via the Snorestore Updates (Twitter feed) box on the left hand side of the page. If you're really desperate, phone us on 020 8861 3149 or 07976 755649 (emergencies only, please) and we will see what we can do. Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday and all weekend and Bank Holiday orders will be sent on the next available working day.

Despite our best efforts, even First Class mail may take several days to get to you. This is not our fault. Please do not 'phone us the day after you placed your order to complain that it has not arrived.
We obtain certificates of posting for all orders mostly because we know Royal Mail sometimes has difficulties in meeting its own targets but also, sadly, because some people are dishonest.
Naturally we will happily send you a replacement order if yours goes missing but we ask you to wait at least 10 days from the order date before writing the original order off as a lost item. Of course, if your order is particularly urgent, you can choose Next Working Day delivery.
